The lending wardrobe in Almedalen is on again

Alexandra Pascalidou, renowned Swedish journalist and debater, looks stunning in her bright orange KappAhl outfit from the lending wardrobe.

For the third year, KappAhl contributes to the “Almedal wardrobe”, which wants to highlight the question of sustainability in the fashion industry.

The Almedal wardrobe is a concept developed by the Swedish Trade Federation and the Swedish Fashion Council. The idea is to lift new business models and contribute to a more sustainable fashion industry by arranging a lending wardrobe during the Almedal week.

The Almedal week is arranged annually in Visby on the Swedish island Gotland and is an arrangement where representatives of political parties, organizations and companies gather to discuss politics and social issues. This year’s edition is currently underway.

During the Almedal week, visitors are offered to borrow clothes from the lending wardrobe, to which many fashion companies contribute clothes, shoes and accessories.

Among the borrowers are many well-known profiles within politics, industry and the media.
